My name is
David Montgomery.
I am a hardcore artist.
I did my first art show in NYC in 95.
The show required that a company represent me.
So we started “Montgomery Illustration.”
Flash forward ten years to 2005.
I was living in Kansas City, Mo.
I had grown bored of snobby gallery shows and had started doing shows in bars with bands. It's more like crazy parties than shows, with crazy talented people.
One of those crazy talented bands was Instanbullies, a badass punk band from Wichita, Ks.
They used to mail demos to us under our business name “Montgomery Illustration.” But they got tired of writing the name over and over…
That was the first time I ever saw the name

Elia G. was a model and muse for many great talents.
She was an artist and an art supporter.
She was my muse for ten years.
She was my girlfriend.
She was my best friend.
She was everything good.
And now everything good is gone.
